‘Spirituality is Practicality’
These workshops are designed to ground spirituality into everyday living. Spirituality in this context is seen as the on-going development and deepening of relationship with the wonder of the universe. This is not seen as divorce from our ‘humanness’, but rather fulfillment of it through the embodiment of spiritual presence both individually and collectively. As awareness develops, integrity demands of us that we be diligent in our personal conduct, which includes doing the personal work so that our living is not constantly undermined by our shadows and conditioned patterns. As our outer capacities, our humanness, come more into attunement with spiritual presence, we experience harmonisation and a sense of well-being.
These days are designed as a series of related workshops, covering the different facets of embodying spirit in day to day living. Each one is complete in itself, but will be most effective when experienced alongside the others in the context of the course. For those committed to ‘spiritual living’, we can also offer coaching, either individually or small group, to facilitate putting our good intentions into practice - and we find that support is so helpful in this process.
1. PRACTICAL SPIRITUALITY – integrating our inner and outer worlds
2. EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL LITERACY – conducting the orchestra of your personality
3. JOURNEY OF LIFE – mastering transitions along the path
4. HOLISTIC HEALTH AND WELL BEING – embodying spirit into the physical realm
5. CREATIVE RELATIONSHIP – bringing your managed self into the dynamic of relationship
6. RELATIONSHIP WITH ALL LIVING THINGS – right livelihood and ethical lifestyle
7. SERVICE – what is your soul’s calling? How can you utilise it to the greatest good?
All workshops will take place in the Orchard Room at Mangreen and will run from 10.00am to 5.00pm at cost of £30 each, payable to Mangreen Trust. Lunch and refreshments provided for a further suggested donation of £5. For those doing the full series of 7 workshops, we offer a discounted price. We are seeking to have these workshops accredited by the Foundation for Holistic Spirituality (F4HS) as part of the Mangreen Spiritual Companion Programme. If you wish to take up the option to be ‘badged’ as an F4HS Spiritual Companion you will also need to complete the Companioning Skills Course and a Self Reflective Assignment.
