Global Meditation Light Centre

Our Light Centre is an oasis of peace, calmness and tranquillity, a place where the everyday stresses of life can be forgotten in a beautiful setting.

We have no specific religious appellation. We welcome all who wish to come and spend a quiet time in this beautiful, peaceful space.

Services

Our Light Centre, here at Mangreen, is a Place of Worship and the centre will seat a maximum of 80 people. On the first Sunday of every month at 11am, we offer a holistic service of inspiration, contemplation, meditation and sharing. For a quiet space to connect with spirit according to your own inner experience, and to savour the peace of Mangreen, please do come along.

Attunements

Attunment is a non-touch form of energy healing and centering. If you're suffereing from a severe illness, or just feeling out-of-sorts, attunement assists you in centering, and coming back to a place of welbeing within yourself. You will experience a sense of calm, peace and sometimes warmth. Healing can be a natual result of this energetic realignment, however we follow the axim "let love radiate without concern for results", and trust the working of spirit.

We hold Attunements at The Light Centre every Thursday at 11am.

Weddings, Celebration of Life, Baby Namings, Rites of Passage

Our Light Centre offers a beautiful, sacred surround for the above ceremonies, and William is a trained Celebrant and InterFaith Minister. We will assist you in creating your own personalised ceremony in whatever way you wish, according to your own spiritual beliefs. This could include a personalised address, poems, meditations, readings, music, and ritual ceremony. You can also decorate the space with candles and flowers however you would like. We also have our lovely gardens and Stone Circle, which you can include in your ceremony.

Candle Chapel - Lighting a Candle is a prayer

We have a Candle Chapel, where you are welcome to come and light a candle for a friend or a loved one, when they are in need of special enfoldment. When we have gone it stays alight, kindling in the hearts and minds of others the prayers we have already offered for them and for others, for the sad, the sick and the suffering - and prayers of thankfulness too. Lighting a Candle is a symbol: of Love and hope, of light and warmth.

To anyone wondering whether or not to go to Mangreen and visit the Light Centre, my advice is : Do not hesitate, it is an experience for which you can only be the richer.

Speaking as someone who recently felt drawn to venture there, I knew I had made the right decision to go as soon as I drove in at the entrance; an unmistakable feeling of peace, welcome and lightness filled the air and I was still sitting in the car!

Just wandering around the gardens gives a sense of tranquillity and within the Light Centre itself, tucked away amongst the flowers and shrubs, there is such a feeling of energy and well being.

The name 'Light Centre' is certainly appropriate as the interior is bathed in an abundance of natural light. The beautiful candles, crystals and flowers add to the radiance and vitality, yet all is peaceful and calm.

We are so pleased to have found this haven, or did it find us?

On a final note, we would like to thank the people who lit candles for us during the flight times of our holiday abroad in September. The strength of their thoughts and prayers, even though we were miles away, were as effective as ever.
