This gives a broad foundation and is a pre-requisite for Diploma.
Students at this level work towards being able to address a range of
psychological and spiritual issues, utilise a variety of counselling
skills and understand a range of counselling theory. Whilst there is
some academic content to the course, it is a highly experiential course,
with the focus on personal growth, leading to greater understanding of
oneself and others. In this way you can develop as a therapist with
self-knowledge of the journey. Successful applicants will receive a
nationally accredited Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory. |

Diploma Course |
||
|
A 2 year Practitioner Training. Entry requirement for the course is
a Certificate in Counselling. It enables students to explore and
develop therapeutic relationship with others based on psychospiritual
theories and experience. It will involve in-depth personal, spiritual
and academic work. Students need to consider carefully their own
personal and spiritual development as a core of their therapeutic work.
It is a nationally accredited Diploma and on successful completion
students can work as Counsellors or Psychospiritual Therapists and begin
the process for accreditation with BACP (British Association of
Counsellors and Psychotherapists). |
